Economists In The News: Dr. Doom

Nouriel Roubini on CNBC
Nouriel Roubini is an economist who is well respected around the world, when he speaks a lot of people listen.  His economic outlooks are generally bearish, hence his nickname "Dr. Doom", but his latest outlook for the U.S. is not so bearish.  Although he believes the U.S. will continue to grow below trend, he also believes that the U.S. will be better off relative to many other nations.  However, he also warns that the results of the pending sequester could send the U.S. economy into a double-dip recession.  No doubt there will be much talk of a double-dip recession throughout the sequester debate.

Other highlights in the interview; GDP, unemployment, monetary policy, the debt ceiling, the stock market, and much more.
